Join us for panel presentations by industry representatives who will provide information on their workforce needs. Panel presenters will have 10-15 minutes each to talk about:

• Opportunities within their company (type of jobs by occupation, work conditions, educational requirements).
• Skills or qualities that they look for in new hires, interns, coop students.
• Some of their recruitment and hiring challenges.
• Advice they have for anyone who wants to train for and/or pursue a career in mining and mining services industries.

Each panel presenter will speak for 10-15 minutes each. Presentations, will be followed by a facilitated question period.

Our goal:

To promote employment opportunities in the local mining and mining services industries so that local mining industries find the workers that they need so that they could continue to grow and strive in our Northeastern Ontario communities.
